The team

Two pillars under one roof.

Galleon was founded so cannabis operators don't have to triangulate between a compliance specialist and a facility builder who don't speak each other's language.

She has spent more than half of her career on compliance and regulatory affairs, with particular strengths in cannabis and environmental matters.

From November 2018 to September 2025, Christine served as Director of Compliance at FLUENT Cannabis, serving as a member of the executive leadership team for a multistate operator with operations in Florida, Texas, New York, and Pennsylvania. During her tenure, the company grew from $8.1 million in 2018 to $103.6 million in 2024 in annual revenues. She obtained hundreds of regulatory approvals from states licensing agencies, including approximately 500 variance approvals from the Florida Department of Health, Office of Medical Marijuana Use. She also led the successful defense of the company against federal and state regulatory enforcement actions, and managed a 7-person compliance and regulatory team across the multistate footprint.

In that role, Christine developed and oversaw her company's compliance program, structured around the U.S. Department of Justice and Department of Health and Human Services guidelines. She managed quality assurance and safety in accordance with state laws, FTC, FDA, Health Canada, OSHA, GACP, GMP, HIPAA, ISO, and HACCP standards.

Christine has participated in the full gamut of cannabis compliance and regulatory matters—applications, acquisitions, renewals, external audits, program development, litigation, inspections, approvals, notices of violation, investigations, and corrective actions—in eight states. She understands the life cycle of a cannabis license and how to work with intense, constantly evolving regulatory challenges for large and small companies.

Christine currently serves as Of Counsel to the Florida law firm of Grossman Roopnarine and Bayó working in both the Tampa area and Tallahassee. Through her firm, she provides regulatory counsel to medical marijuana companies, and as General Counsel to the Florida Medical Marijuana Trade Association, representing the association before the Department of Health and the Division of Administrative Hearings on matters relating to medical marijuana treatment center licensees.

Ronald Long is the Co-Founder of Galleon Consulting Group, leading the firm's facility design, construction, and physical-environment compliance practice. He brings more than 30 years of construction experience specializing in medical and healthcare construction, renovation, and certification accreditation.

Ronald is the founder and CEO of Ronald W Long LLC / Healthcare Facility Solutions, a firm operating since November 2016 across the Southeastern United States, providing compliance and physical-environment solutions for hospitals, laboratories, multispecialty surgery centers, and other healthcare facilities.

Ronald is also a partner at Parks & Long Healthcare Construction and Compliance, LLC in Pensacola, Florida (since May 2019), where he leads significant healthcare facility construction work across Florida.

Ronald's certifications and memberships include ASHE (American Society for Healthcare Engineering), ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers), MED GAS 6005 (ASSE 6005 medical gas installer certification under NFPA 99), ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment), AAADM (American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers), OSHA, and EPA. These standards translate directly to cannabis cultivation IPM, manufacturing sanitation, GMP audit preparation, C1D1 and C1D2 extraction room construction, and the environmental controls required by GACP, CSQ, and cGMP.

Through a network of specialized trade partners, Ronald delivers the critical mechanical systems that determine whether a cultivation facility actually performs under load — irrigation, RO, dry rooms, dehumidification, ambient air movement, and full fertigation rooms — engineered to specification and tied back to the regulatory standards each facility is being inspected against.

He is licensed in multiple states and collaborates with locally-licensed general contractors as needed to ensure compliance with state-specific construction laws and standards.
